No b) Do you support state funding for charter schools?
Yes c) Do you support increasing teacher salaries AND/OR benefits in California?
Yes d) Should immigrants unlawfully present in the United States who graduate from California high schools be eligible for in-state tuition at public universities?
I believe that California's education standards should exceed federal standards. I also know that the definition if "unlawfully present" changes in regard to immigrants, and that is why young people who graduate from California high schools should be eligible for in-state tuition.
Yes a) Do you support state funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
Yes b) Do you support government regulations of greenhouse gas emissions?

Yes b) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in California's anti-discrimination laws?
Yes c) Do you support greater efforts by California state government in closing the pay gap between men and women?
d) Other or expanded principles:
Our district does not have equitable access to internet connectivity. We need to bring adequate internet speed to every single North State home for a reasonable cost. I support public-private partnerships that incentivize private internet providers to contribute to public internet infrastructure. Internet access needs to be seen as a public utility and a right of every residential household, as is electricity.
There is no excuse for delaying wildfire prevention measures in Northern California. We need to adopt fuel abatement programs by introducing low-intensity prescribed burns, adequate forest thinning, and mechanical and non-fire methods for understory clearing. Because so much of our forest land is federal, we need to work with our representatives in DC to increase the USFS budget for these efforts. We also need to incentivize construction of biomass gasification facilities to convert removed biomass into sustainable energy production, hydrogen fuel and biochar, a product that can be used by agricultural producers to mitigate soil drought and sequester carbon.
